Girls who Code and Us



Girls Who Code, is a Summer Immersion Program for teen girls to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment, with a purpose to have more women involved in Technology. Like us, we believe in girls' unlimited potential! The goals of this program, is to show the world that women can also code, and there's no one that can say that a guy knows more about Technology than a girl, because he is a guy. We want to end this gender gap in Tech because girls are being left behind.

My name is Carolyn. I am a rising Junior at Boston International High School. I am from Dominican Republic. I joined Girls Who Code because I believe that every women can code and, I want to show that gender doesn't define how capable you are of acheaving what you want.

My name is Deina Lopes. I born in Cape Verde and I'm living here, in USA, only with my siblings because my parents are back in my home country. I go to Boston International High School, where I'm rising Junior. Right now, I'm not sure about what I want to be in the future, but I know that I want to be involved in the Technology field.

My name is Devika Ruhela and I am a 15 year old who lives in the South Boston area. Currently, I am a rising Junior. I like to programming a lot and hopefully in the future I will have an awesome job that lets me do that.
